remember when we found out Neville Longbottom had bigger balls than anyone else in the HP series

remember how Dumbledore told us this in the very first book, but no one believed him

“It takes a great deal of bravery to stand up to our enemies, but just as much to stand up to our friends”

I have no idea how you could possibly say that Norway is the penis and Sweden’s the ballsack. Obviously Sweden is the penis and Finland is the ballsack. Norway is more like a weird slug, riding on the penis.

I can’t think of any reason why I shouldn’t reblog this.

31 Days of BPD

Day 1: Think of the last time you were really angry. Why was that?

Because I used to get very explosive with my anger (and in turn become impulsive) I try not to get angry at all, even things that severely bother me I ignore it and pretend it’s not happening.

The last time I got really angry though was when I ran into something when I was riding my bike and my finger got caught between the bar and the brake and I started cussing about it - I do that when I’m angry. Physical pain, even if it doesn’t hurt that much, tends to set me off a lot quicker than everything else. But I was fine within thirty seconds.

  • Day 1: Think of the last time you were really angry. Why was that?
  • Day 2: Why did your last friendship end?
  • Day 3: Do you self-harm? If yes, how?
  • Day 4: Have you ever attempted suicide?
  • Day 5: Have you ever written a suicide note?
  • Day 6: How’s your love life?
  • Day 7: Have you ever…

I guess I’ll do this.

Nineteen-year-old Tarikuwa Lemma is a survivor, of an international adoption scandal. When she was 13, she was effectively sold from her native Ethiopia to an American family. The corrupt “adoption agency” convinced her father, who was a widow, that Tarikuwa and her younger sisters were headed to the U.S. as part of an educational exchange program, and that they would return home every summer and on holiday breaks. Little did he know, his daughters had been placed with adoptive couples in the U.S., never to return. Tarikuwa’s name was changed against her will, and she was forbidden by her American “family” from speaking her native language. The issue of transnational adoption, its evangelical Christian component, and the exploitation of communities that sometimes results, is the subject of the book, The Child Catchers: Rescue, Trafficking and the New Gospel of Adoption by Kathryn Joyce, who appeared, along with Tarikuwa, on last Sunday’s “Melissa Harris Perry” show on MSNBC. Below is Tarikuwa’s satirical look at the “rescue” of children from her home country, to “better lives” in America.

My Thoughts on This Whole Danny Brown Oral Sex Thing | NOISEY

iliketopointtomynose:

This was not something Danny facilitated. It was an actual sexual assault, and nobody cares about that but me because people can’t accept the fact that a white girl raped a black dude onstage in front…

An interesting example of how the Patriarchy loops around to bite itself in the ass.
